Zipcar has expanded its car-sharing service in Milwaukee by adding 29 more Zipcar vehicles, according to a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. This brings the total to 40 car-sharing vehicles.
First arriving in 2007, Zipcar opened locations near Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, says the report. Now Zipcar vehicles will be available in other locations including East Town, the Third Ward and the Milwaukee Intermodal Station.
According to the report, Zipcar vehicle rates start at $8.50 an hour and $69 per day.
