PurCo Fleet Services, a loss prevention company, has collaborated with fleet technology developer Bynx to launch PurInspect, a digitized vehicle inspection app.

The PurInspect app offers rental companies a tool to document a rental vehicle’s condition. By providing time-stamped photos for vehicle inspections, it helps establish a complete inspection history for a vehicle.

With PurInspect, vehicle inspections are stored in the cloud and can be accessed from anywhere. When sending a vehicle condition report to the customer, you can request a digital signature – wherever that vehicle pick-up location happens to be.

“We are always looking to improve the service we offer, and by partnering with Bynx, we have now developed an app that adds real value for our customers,” said David Purinton, CEO and founder of PurCo Fleet Services, in a March 26 news release. “We’re expecting the demand for PurInspect to be sizeable, which is why we’ve committed to over one million inspections in anticipation of high demand.”

In addition to improving accuracy and efficiency with the vehicle inspection process, the PurInspect app can also increase customer loyalty, boost profitability, and be configured to small and large rental car fleets.

“PurCo is a fantastic partner to have as we enter these new markets,” said Gary Jefferies, sales and marketing director at U.K.-based Bynx. “They have exceptional industry knowledge, a strong reputation, and a customer-first ethic. The U.S. represents massive potential for Bynx.”
