Finalrentals Launches Data Science Division
In Florida and the Caribbean markets, Finalrentals Analytics (FiRa) found Miami to be the top destination for rental cars in the first, second, and fourth quarters last year.

Finalrentals has launched a new data science and AI division called Finalrentals Analytics (FiRa). The company will use these analytics and data to bring key market insights to the car rental industry.
Recently, FiRa has been observing the most attractive markets for tourists and inbound car rentals in Florida and the Caribbean.
Miami was found to be the top destination in first quarter, second quarter, and fourth quarter 2022, according to FiRa data. The top rental car was the Honda Civic and the average rental per booking was six days.
In third quarter 2022, Dominican Republic’s Las Americas International Airport took the top destination from Miami, according to FiRa data. The Hyundai i10 was the top rental car, and the average rental period was seven days.
Jamaica’s Norman Manley International Airport was the third most popular rental destination in second quarter and third quarter 2022. According to FiRa data, the average rental period was two weeks. The Suzuki Vitara was the top vehicle choice among renters.
Headquartered in Wales, U.K., Finalrentals offers car rental franchise and affiliate programs. In the last year alone, it added 18 new countries to its global network.
