Green Motion announced the continuation of its expansion throughout the African continent, with the signing of its newest franchise in Zimbabwe. 

The Master Country Franchise has been awarded to local car rental entrepreneur Innocent Kudzotsa, who will initially kick off operations in April, 2023 in the Zimbabwean capital Harare as well as supporting Harare International Airport.

"This is another major leap forward for the Green Motion brand as we further build on our operations supporting the African continent," said Green Motion founder and CEO Richard Lowden in a statement. "I would like to take this opportunity to officially welcome Innocent Kudzotsa and his team to the Green Motion family. We are thoroughly looking forward to the journey ahead to deliver another successful Green Motion franchise country."

The company announced further plans to develop the Green Motion brand throughout the country over the course of the year.

"It's an honor to be awarded Green Motion's Master Country Franchise for Zimbabwe, and I would like to thank Richard and the Green Motion International team for the opportunity," added Kudzotsa. "We are looking forward to working together on the success and prosperity of Green Motion in Zimbabwe."
