For the entirety of its existence, the International Car Rental Show (ICRS) has provided car rental operators the tools to improve profits and efficiencies in their operations while providing them a roadmap to the future.

As the show celebrates 25 years, this mandate comes into sharper focus.

“With the pace of change accelerating at lightning speed, it’s even more important to gather in person to understand the market today, assess new solutions, and network with new strategic partners,” said Chris Brown, ICRS conference chair.

The 2020 ICRS kicks off with a keynote address from Fabrizio Ruggiero, deputy CEO of Europcar Mobility Group. In his address, “Mobility is Changing, and so Are We!” Ruggiero will outline how Europcar is transforming into a mobility service company and challenge the audience to rethink the car rental paradigm.

The closing keynote address, titled “Car Rental: Then, Now, and the Future” will assemble an extended panel of industry experts who will chart the changes in car rental for the last 25 years and into the future.

“This panel will be a ‘who’s who’ of leaders in the car rental industry spanning a few generations to today,” said Brown. “The saying, ‘The past is prologue’ is apropos. Through these panelists’ business experiences, attendees will gain a big picture perspective on the cycles of business, dealing with disruptions, and the constant need to adapt and change.”

Seminar topics include, but are not limited to:
