Auto Rental News announces the 2012 Auto Rental Summit, a gold-level training and education conference designed to improve customer service of car rental operations. Auto rental managers, executives and employees from corporate, franchised and independent companies from North America and overseas are invited to “Achieve Excellence” October 29 & 30 in Hollywood, Fla.

The Summit will be held in conjunction with the first-ever Auto Rental News Professional of the Year Awards, which will honor three associates from auto rental companies worldwide who demonstrate and promote outstanding customer satisfaction within the car rental process.

“The Auto Rental Summit is the industry’s forum for promoting excellence in the customer experience,” says Chris Brown, executive editor of Auto Rental News. “As well, the Professional of the Year Awards are an opportunity for the auto rental industry to celebrate its champions, the unsung heroes who are helping to raise the levels of customer service every day. Through the Summit and Awards, we can raise the bar together even higher.”

The event, held at the Marriott Hollywood Beach on the famed Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, kicks off with an address from Bob Barton, president of the American Car Rental Association, followed by a roundtable education session and networking event with a select group of exhibiting companies.

The Summit continues the next day with a series of in-depth, solutions-oriented training seminars as well as a luncheon celebrating the winners of the Professional of the Year Awards.
