The 34th edition of the Auto Rental News Fact Book has been posted online. The issue contains data and analysis on the U.S. car rental market, including overall revenue, fleet size, locations, and rental fleet sales as well as rate and wholesale data.
ARN and the American Car Rental Association (ACRA) provide industry analysis. Industry directories for car rental companies, auto manufacturers, and suppliers are also listed in the 2021 Fact Book.
This issue also contains Auto Rental News’ proprietary COVID-19 surveys, which queried car rental operators over time to gauge the state of the industry during the pandemic.
Editor’s note: In a promotional email on Jan. 5 from Auto Rental News announcing the Fact Book, the text linking to the ACRA editorial stated “If you’ve got more than 400 vehicles in your fleet, ACRA’s membership fees are waived for the coming year.” The text should read, “If you’ve got fewer than 400 vehicles in your fleet, ACRA’s membership fees are waived for the coming year.”
