Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental are offering one-way rates from the Northeast to Florida for as low as $5 per day. Now through Oct. 31, these rates qualify for economy to full-sized vehicles.

The offer is valid for checkout between Sept. 19 and Oct. 31 for one-way rentals only. Vehicle must be picked up at a participating Northeast location and returned to a different participating Florida location, according to Avis Budget. Rates require a minimum 1- to maximum 14-consecutive-day rental period.
Participating Northeast locations include Boston, Hartford, Buffalo, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Richmond, and Norfolk.
