Avis Singapore Celebrates 40 Years
The car rental company has been commemorating the 40-year milestone with discounted services.
Avis Singapore is celebrating 40 years of providing car rental services to the Republic of Singapore this month.
The company has been offering travelers up to 40% savings on car rentals throughout March. Also, the company is thanking its loyal customers with other money-saving offers and chances to earn additional mileage for frequent flier members.
Avis Singapore has five locations throughout the country offering Avis Preferred — the company’s express rental service — the Avis Flex long-term car rental program and Avis Leasing.
Since the company’s first opening in Hong Kong in 1970 with operations in Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Pakistan and Sri Lanka following shortly after in 1972, it has expanded to more than 300 locations in 15 countries in Asia.
“Over the last 40 years, Singapore has evolved extensively and is now one of Southeast Asia’s largest aviation hubs,” said Patric Siniscalchi, Avis Budget Group president of Latin America/Asia-Pacific. “We are proud to have participated in this growth and remain committed to meeting business and leisure travel demand, driving incremental revenue and serving our customers in Singapore with Avis’ world-class products and services.”
