CarTrawler Expands Ground Transportation Options
In 2015, CarTrawler, an online global car rental platform, will be moving beyond car rental to offer a range of ground transportation solutions, including limousines and taxis.

CarTrawler, an online global car rental platform, will be moving beyond car rental to offer a range of ground transportation solutions.
As customer expectations have extended beyond car rental, CarTrawler has anticipated the need for a more comprehensive range of ground transportation solutions that can be personalized by customer, by country and by continent, says the company.
From early 2015, over 500 million airline passengers will be able to choose the car, limousine with driver, taxi, shuttle service or GPS-located transport solution (i.e. Uber, Lyft) that best suits their needs, their location and their budget — all delivered through the CarTrawler online marketplace, according to the company.
Many of these products are already available, and CarTrawler has plans for expansion of this portfolio in 2015.
“The CarTrawler marketplace enables online travel retailers to leverage their own brand strength to generate revenue and increase loyalty by providing their customers with an enhanced range of ground transportation services,” said Bobby Healy, chief technology officer of CarTrawler. “Most importantly, we help them to make it easy for their customers by anticipating their needs and helping them to find the right mode of transport at the right price. ...”
