Carwiz Expands Across Poland

Carwiz reports seeing a 700% year-over-year increase in rentals as the industry continues its recovery post-covid. Pictured is Robert Mucha, CEO of Carwiz Poland (middle) with two staff members.

Carwiz continues expanding its footprint, announcing it has doubled the number of offices in Poland. Between December 2021 and June 2022, Carwiz Poland opened four new locations across the country.
Customers may select pickups and returns also in Rzeszów and Lublin (South East Poland), Poznań (West Poland), Katowice (South Poland), and Olsztyn (North East Poland). There are currently eight Carwiz points in Poland, and the operator said it has plans to open more soon.
The Carwiz network covers mainly regional and international short-term airport rentals in Poland, including Warsaw’s Chopin Airport. Most renters there come for business or leisure trips, according to the company.
The strengthened presence in Poland is in line with the industry recovery after COVID-19, and is already yielding results, according to Carwiz, as the number of rentals has increased by 700% year-on-year. The company also invests in technologies in order to make the rental process smoother for its customers — including a recent partnership with Zubie for telematics.
"We can see really huge potential for a brand like Carwiz in Poland," said Robert Mucha, CEO of Carwiz Poland. "Despite almost two years of COVID-19 pandemics and now the war in Ukraine, people still need to rent reliable cars at good prices. We saw this growth opportunity and decided to go ahead with our development plans. Just six months ago, we were present in three main Polish cities and now you can find us in eight locations. By no means we will stop here; there are more cities on our wishlist."
