Consultants have suggested St. Louis Lambert International Airport consolidate its rental operations under one roof, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Moving the rental agencies is part of a bigger effort to revamp ground transportation and parking at the airport. In 2019, ground transportation generated about 70% of the airport's non-flight revenue.
Consolidating the rental agencies would free up space to be used as airport-owned public parking lots.
The consultants also recommended raising fees on private shuttles, taxis, and limousine services that currently pay less to than similar services at other airports.
