EnjoyTravel.com, a car rental comparison company based in the U.K., announced its acquisition of its competitor Doorental.com, an online car broker with a majority European customer base.

The acquisition creates growth by combining complementary customer networks and is a key step in EnjoyTravel.com’s plan to further expand in the Swedish, Italian, and French tourism markets. This is the latest in a series of strategic growth acquisitions by EnjoyTravel.com, who also recently acquired popular travel website Big 7 Travel.

EnjoyTravel.com is strengthening its position for the return of the U.K. and European domestic travel market and expects car rental and road trips to be a breakout travel trend of 2021 as people eschew public transport in favour of private.
