Enterprise Holdings operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries and franchises. These regional subsidiaries employ 100,000 worldwide.

The Management Training program is one of the key reasons Enterprise repeatedly has been recognized for recruitment, training, and development excellence by the following organizations:

  • Workforce magazine included Enterprise Holdings on its Workforce 100 list three years in a row. The list recognizes excellence in multiple human resources-related areas, such as recruiting, learning, leadership and diversity.

  • Chief Learning Officer magazine has recognized Enterprise Holdings as a Gold Learning Elite Organization for the past three years, honoring the business for exemplary workforce development strategies that deliver outstanding business results.

  • Training magazine, the leading business publication for learning and development professionals, has ranked Enterprise Holdings on its Training Top 125 for the past four years.

Global Workplace Recognition

In the U.K., Enterprise Rent-A-Car was named one of The Times Top 50 Employers for Women in 2018 for the 13th consecutive year. The list recognizes organizations that are leading the way on workplace gender equality.

Enterprise Holdings also was ranked as one of the top 10 employers on the Social Mobility Employer Index 2018, marking the second consecutive year that Enterprise has placed among the top 10 on this list of the U.K.’s top 50 employers who have taken the most action to improve social mobility in the workplace.

In Ireland, Enterprise received the Diversity Recruitment “Gold” award at the 12th annual gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards, marking the sixth consecutive year Enterprise has received gradireland’s Diversity Recruitment award and the fourth year it won Gold. The Graduate Recruitment Awards recognized Enterprise for excellence in graduate recruitment processes, assessment initiatives and efforts to remove socio-economic issues, gender, and disability as barriers to employment.

Enterprise Holdings was named one of the best employers in the Greater Toronto Area for 2018 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. in its annual Greater Toronto’s Top Employers competition. This recognition came on the heels of Enterprise’s selection as one of The Best Places to Work in Canada by the popular job-finding site Indeed. To compile the list, Indeed scoured its database of 600,000 employee reviews and narrowed down the top 25 places to work in Canada.

In addition, FlexJobs ranked Enterprise Holdings’ remote work options on its 2018 list of 100 Top Companies with Remote Jobs. More than 1,200 full-time employees hold work-from-home customer service and reservation sales positions throughout North America.

Finally, Enterprise ranked among the 10 Best Employers in Digital Talent Communication in the 2018 Potentialpark Study, which recognized the business for creating an exceptional online hiring experience in the U.S. Potentialpark also ranked Enterprise among the top 10 career websites in the U.S. and U.K.
