The Business Motoring Awards honors best-in-class entries in the fleet world, considering everything from new vehicle choices, innovative service offerings, and top rental car companies for both short-term and long-term rentals.

This year’s entries “demonstrated great service offering and excellent support structure services, but the winners showed how they are successfully revolutionizing fleet procurement services to SMEs,” proclaimed the awards website.

When a panel of independent judges finished their review, Europcar emerged as a best-in-class company in three categories: Best Short-Term Rental Company, Best Long-Term Rental Company and Best Mobility Provider.

Europcar received recognition as Best Long-Term Rental Company for its efforts to address the mobility needs of small and medium enterprises. The company offers these businesses flexibility and adaptability in vehicle choice, usage and in cost control. Northgate Vehicle Hire emerged as “highly commended” in this category.

Europcar also claimed the title as Best Short-Term Rental Company for its comprehensive range of support for SMEs, while Thrifty took the “highly commended” recognition.

Europcar also received recognition as the Best Mobility Provider for having the technology and network to keep long-term cars, which may be underutilized, off the road. Tomorrow’s Journey received the “highly commended” distinction in this category.

Select Car Leasing took home the title of Best Fleet Management Company. Select Fleet Solutions offers fleet customers “the most competitive leasing rates in the market,” the site reports. RunYourFleet took the “highly commended” award in this category.

Ogilvie Fleet received distinction as the Best Leasing Company. Trusted by over 2,000 organizations, Ogilvie currently operates a fleet of over 19,000 vehicles made up of 65% (12,350) cars and 35% (6,650) light commercial vehicles. JCT600 received the “highly commended” distinction in this category.

  • Best Small Car: MG5 EV

  • Best Small EV: MG4 EV

  • Best Medium Car: Honda Civic

  • Best Medium EV: Kia Niro EV

  • Best Medium SUV: Kia Sportage

  • Best Hybrid: Honda Civic

  • Best Large EV: Kia EV6

  • Best large SUV: Range Rover Sport

  • Best PHEV: Range Rover Sport

  • Best Company Car: Honda Civic

  • Best Company Car Program: Ogilvie Fleet

  • Best Electric Charging Point Provider: Ohme

  •  Best Remarketing Service: Aston Barclay
