Finalrentals Expands into Canada and the Pacific Northwest

The global auto rental company chose three gateways for its North American continental debut.

Car rental network Finalrentals recently entered into North America with outlets in Canada and the Pacific Northwest, making its first foray into U.S. and Canadian airport locations.

As of Dec. 3, travelers can access car rental services at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Calgary International Airport (YYC), and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

This milestone marks Finalrentals’ strategic move into one of the world’s most dynamic mobility markets. The company sees these locations as ideal gateways for the company’s North American debut.

The expansion into Vancouver, Calgary, and Seattle underscores Finalrentals’ interest in cities renowned for their stunning natural landscapes, bustling tourism, and vibrant economic activity.

"Entering North America is a defining moment in our mission to become the world’s leading car rental network," said Ammar Akhtar, founder and CEO of Finalrentals, in a Dec. 3 news release. “Vancouver, Calgary, and Seattle are key destinations for leisure and business travelers, known for their connectivity and cultural significance.

 Alan Braun, an experienced leader in the mobility industry, will lead Finalrentals' North American operations. His extensive local knowledge and industry expertise will help ensure that Finalrentals’ services meet the expectations of Canadian and American travelers.
