European car rental operator Finalrentals announced further expansion of its franchise program in the Caribbean by adding two new locations to its network.
According to an announcement on Feb. 2, the Dominican Republic franchise has been secured by Fast Auto, a popular car rental business in the Dominican Republic, and the Saint Lucia franchise has been secured by Vacay Carz, operating under DelRoy St. Omer, a young entrepreneur and car rental industry enthusiast in Saint Lucia.
“Under the strong leadership of Joan Ortiz, Fast Auto will grow further as Finalrentals Dominican Republic franchisee, and we are looking forward to working with the incredible young team with great customer service skills,” said Ammar Akhtar, founder and CEO of Finalrentals.
“Finalrentals is growing very fast and has all what it takes to become a global brand, looking at it’s expansion we are thrilled to be a part of the family,” added Joan Ortiz, franchisee of Finalrentals in the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican Republic franchise will operate in full swing and will serve across the Dominican Republic, including all major tourist destinations as well as the main international airports.
“Finalrentals is a pro-entrepreneur franchise program, and that is what I love about it," DelRoy St. Omer said. "I am so honored to be working with Finalrentals."
“It has been exciting to see great response for our franchise program, and we are always looking forward to supporting young entrepreneurs willing to operate our franchise. St. Lucia is very special for us,” Akhtar added.
Finalrentals also operates in Jamaica, and has added all three franchisees in under four weeks.
