The global car rental brand Finalrentals recently set up operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, two months after it launched in Turkey.
The company has partnered with a local business to provide car rental services at Sarajevo Airport, serving travelers interested in exploring the nation's capital.
“Bosnia is one of the most diverse countries in Europe, with a rich history and incredibly beautiful destinations,” said Ammar Akhtar, founder and CEO of Finalrentals, in an Aug. 15 news release. “We are bringing Finalrentals to this country in collaboration with a strong local partner.”
Bosnia and Herzegovina, also known as Bosnia-Herzegovina, is a nation on the Balklan Peninsula in Southeast Europe. It borders Serbia to the east, Montenegro to the southeast, and Croatia to the north and southwest, and has a stretch of land along the Adriatic Sea.
The owner of the Sarajevo partner location added, “We believe that Finalrentals is an amazing digital platform and a perfect fit for the fast-growing city of Sarajevo. We are bringing modern car rental solutions to our customers.”
The Finalrentals Partner Program (FPP) enables traditional car rental businesses to instantly digitize their fleets and connect to all major booking platforms, with little tech investment.
Founded in 2019 and based in Cardiff, U.K., Finalrentals has been growing as a fully digital car rental brand. Since the start of the year, the company has received a 300% increase in inbound partnership requests. Finalrentals aims to operate in 100 countries by the end of 2025.
