Green Motion International announced the sale of its latest Master Country Franchise in Asia on Dec. 19. It is in Azerbaijan, a country that is recognized as one of the most in-demand tourist and business traveler destinations, enjoying a 78% increase in foreign visitors throughout the last 12 months.
The franchise was acquired by local car rental entrepreneur Bahruz Safarov, who has over 15 years of experience in the sector.
"It’s an honor to welcome Bahruz Safarov and his team to the Green Motion family, and we are looking forward to working with him and his team on delivering another Green Motion success story and seeing Green Motion Azerbaijan become one of the top rental brands within the market,” said Richard Lowden, founder & CEO of Green Motion.
“We found Green Motion’s concept very much impressive,” said Bahruz Safarov. “Their ‘green business’ strategy reflects our long-term plans, and we are proud to have been awarded such a strong international brand, and look forward to the golden opportunities that Green Motion will bring.”
