Hertz On Demand Enrollment Included in Hertz Gold Membership
The company announced that the enrollment is automatic, and Hertz On Demand members are also eligible to enroll in the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program.
The Hertz Corp. announced Jan. 11 the automatic enrollment for Hertz Gold members in the company's rent as you go, hourly car rental service, Hertz On Demand, and the added member benefit of earning Gold Plus Rewards Points with each Hertz On Demand rental.
"Automatic enrollment in Hertz On Demand for all Hertz Gold members is a natural evolution for our hourly car rental service," said Mark P. Frissora, chairman and CEO of Hertz. "Hertz On Demand is free to join, with no annual membership fees. We are delighted to add the additional benefit of the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program for our Hertz On Demand members.”
Members of the Hertz Gold program can visit www.HertzOnDemand.com/goldenroll to experience a shortened Hertz On Demand enrollment process. When entering their Gold number, the existing information is used to create a Hertz On Demand member profile. Once completed, a confirmation email is sent and a welcome kit is mailed to the member.
In addition, Hertz On Demand members are now eligible to enroll in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, Hertz's free rewards program that provides customers with a range of rewards including points that never expire, 'AnyDay' reward options with no blackouts, online redemption on Hertz.com, international point accrual, and a variety of car rewards including cars from any of Hertz's Collections — the Adrenaline, Green Traveler and Prestige Collections. Hertz On Demand members must be a member of Hertz Gold to earn Gold Plus Rewards Points.
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members receive one point for each qualifying dollar spent on a completed Hertz On Demand rental. Free weekend rental days are only 500 points.
To introduce Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, Hertz is offering fee-waived Gold Service, normally $60 annually, through March 31, 2012. For Gold Plus Rewards details, to enroll, and to earn Gold Plus Rewards Points on all qualifying rentals, customers simply need to visit www.HertzGoldPlusRewards.com.
