India Carsharing Group Revv to Use Hyundai Vehicles

Revv, an India-based self-drive carsharing service, has expanded its services with Hyundai Motor Company.
The partnership between the two companies will consist of supporting Revv’s growing rental services, including a supply of Hyundai carsharing products, the development of new mobility service platforms, and product marketing, according to a press release.
Both companies said together they will build the competency and technology necessary to lead the future of India's mobility market.
The self-drive car rental market in India has grown exponentially, increasing from $900 million in 2016 to $1.5 billion in 2018. Currently there are 15,000 self-driving cars in India — a figure that is expected to grow to 50,000 by 2020 and to 150,000 in 2022.
