Vehicles available for carsharing nearly tripled in number in Moscow last year, according to Automotive News Europe.
Carsharing operations such as Yandex.Drive and Car2Go flooded the market last year. Yandex dropped 7,000 vehicles onto the Moscos streets, charging customers 5 rubles (8 cents) per minute, including fuel, maintenance, and parking.

Russia's captial city has the largest fleet of carsharing vehicles in Europe, and the second largest in the world.
