Thrifty Car Rental Sponsors Amateur Golf Tournament for Australia, New Zealand
Thrifty Car Rental will award the participants who hit the longest drive of the day in the Auto Club Golf Championship with a free two-day rental.
As a major sponsor of the Auto Club Golf Championship for Australia and New Zealand, Thrifty Car Rental of Australia announced tournament participants will have the opportunity to win a free two-day rental.
Thrifty’s Longest Drive prize will award the player at each qualifying event who hits the longest drive of the day.
More than 40 regional qualifying rounds are spread across Australia and New Zealand between October 2012 and January 2013. The Auto Club Golf Championship final will take place on Feb. 28 and March 1, 2013.
The winners of the Auto Club Golf Championship final will compete at the 2013 World Amateur Inter-Teams Golf Championship in Malaysia.
