Today, app-based EV rental operator UFODrive announced the opening of two locations in Miami.
The news comes after an array of other recent U.S. openings in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Austin, and Boston, amounting to 13 locations in seven cities in the last six months.
The newest "UFOBays" offer premium Tesla rentals, including the Tesla Model 3, the Tesla Model Y and Tesla model Y Performance, in two prime locations of Brickell and Wynwood.
“This is a particularly exciting launch for us as we’re opening two locations on the same day,” said Edmund Read, UFODrive's chief commercial officer. “Miami is a phenomenal city to be a part of. We can’t wait to see the use of EV rental accelerating on this part of the East Coast.”
UFODrive is now available in 10 countries globally with locations including London, San Francisco, Austin, Paris, Berlin, Dublin, and Amsterdam.
“Demand for electric rental is growing fast and electric platforms enable a redefinition of the rental experience from start to finish. We are proud to be a part of the highest-rated car rental experience in the world,” said Aidan McClean, CEO and co-founder.
UFODrive is an all-digital, all-electric car rental experience controlled by an app, providing car rental in Miami 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
