As part of the Auto Rental News Fact Book published annually, here are the overall statistics and projections for the U.S. car rental market in 2011 from our 2012 Fact Book.

Auto Rental News has released its annual assessment of the U.S. car rental market, with updates on revenue, locations and cars in service by company.

In 2011, the U.S. car rental industry achieved record rental revenue of $22.4 billion, an 8.1% increase over 2010. Click here for the chart. To see comparative data of overall industry revenue and fleet size over the last 10 years including 2011, click here.
