Green Motion announced the opening of operations in Germany for the first time, starting with Munich Airport. This is another step in Green Motion's journey of expansion in Europe.

The Franchise has been awarded to business owner Nemanja Vujacic who, along with his team, has over the past eight years developed the Green Motion brand across both Montenegro and Bulgaria.

"Our expansion into Germany marks a further significant milestone in the successful growth of Green Motion globally," said Green Motion founder & CEO Richard Lowden in a statement. "What makes this even more special is the franchise was acquired by a long-standing partner and friend of Green Motion, Nemanja Vujacic, who started his journey with Green Motion in Montenegro, followed quickly by Bulgaria. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Nemanja and his entire team for their continued expansion with our brand."

Initially focusing on the Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg regions covering Munich and Stuttgart International Airports, Green Motion has expansion plans for the country over the coming months.

"This year's ITB (Berlin) has been our most successful yet, with us not only signing new partnership deals further expanding the marketplace for our franchise network, but also signing up multiple new franchises in the Americas, Africa, west Asia, and now Europe," added Lowden. "We are very much looking forward to our next event which will be the International Car Rental Show in Las Vegas on 16-18th April, which I am confident will prove to be equally as successful!"
