Green Motion Adds South Korea to Its Asian Service Region
The first Green Motion locations in South Korea are scheduled to open in key travel hubs during the coming months, including Seoul, Jeju, and Busan International Airports.

The South Korean Green Motion franchise was recently acquired by car rental entrepreneur Han Seung-jae, further cementing Green Motion’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
Green Motion, known for its eco-friendly sustainable rental car fleet, bringing its green approach to car rental to one of Asia’s most dynamic and environmentally conscious markets.
“The launch of Green Motion in South Korea is a key step in our mission to offer sustainable car rental solutions worldwide,” said Richard Lowden, founder and CEO of Green Motion, in a Feb. 11 news release. “The APAC region is incredibly important for our brand’s long-term strategy, and with Han Seung-jae and his team’s his extensive experience in the car rental industry, we are confident that Green Motion South Korea will thrive.”
Han Seung-jae brings much expertise to the Green Motion network, after operating in the car rental industry for many years.
The first Green Motion locations in South Korea are set to open in key travel hubs over the coming months, including Seoul, Jeju, and Busan International Airports, offering both domestic and international travelers a greener way to explore the country.
Green Motion, the world's largest franchise-only car rental company, will exhibit at the upcoming International Car Rental Show at the Paris Las Vegas, April 14-16.
