Urentacar Global, a leading car rental service provider based in the United Kingdom, and the Croatian rent-a-car franchise system, CARWIZ International, rolling out their brands across the United Kingdom, following the signing of a franchise partnership agreement, the companies announced April 14.
The agreement was signed by Krešimir Dobrilović, founder and CEO of CARWIZ International, and Sadan Khan, CEO of Urentacar Global. The first location will open near London’s Heathrow Airport.
“This game-changing partnership, supported by an expansive national network and high-level industry connections, sets the stage for rapid and significant growth in the UK market,” said Khan in a news release. He brings over 20 years of expertise in the industry.
In promoting the opening of another large and promising market, Dobrilović also revealed for the first time that during the 2024 business year, CARWIZ completed a total of 211,675 rental agreements — a growth of over 52% compared to the previous year, with more than 126.1 million miles driven.
He further highlighted the company’s financial performance, which shows a 39% system-wide revenue increase and a 78% profit growth compared to the 2023 business year.
