AutoUnion Car Rental is growing its footprint in Latin America through a partnership with CJV Rentals, a well-established Costa Rica car rental company, the company announced Sept. 17.
This arrangement brings AutoUnion’s standards and expert services to the local market, offering travelers and residents access to top-tier rental cars and services.
“Our collaboration with AutoUnion Car Rental combines global expertise with local know-how, elevating our service quality and reinforcing CJV Rentals’ market presence in Costa Rica,” said Carlos Jiménez Vargas, representing CJV Rentals, in a news release.
This new franchise marks a milestone in AutoUnion’s Latin American expansion since the Alajuela location will offer a full range of cars suitable both for city travel and for exploring Costa Rica’s diverse landscapes. Alajuela is a province and a city in central Costa Rica, known as “the land of mangoes.”
The new franchise sits in Alajuela’s Central Canton, with easy access for travelers arriving at Juan Santamaría International Airport.
AutoUnion pursues growth globally by focusing on markets that combine strong tourism potential with opportunities for local partnerships.
