NextCar and Priceless announced a partnership on Sept. 14 with the World Independent Car Rental Association, which provides education and support for peer-to-peer and independent car rental operators and the industry as a whole.

According to the announcement, ICRA and NextCar and Priceless share common goals, offering both franchise and affiliate programs that also operate a network of their own corporate-owned locations and fleet. The partnership seeks to further develop the growing ties between traditional car rental companies and the new P2P stakeholders for the future of the mobility industry.

"We are excited about this partnership and the potential benefits and offerings NP Auto Group can bring to our membership and our industry," said Trent Gifford, ICRA CEO & founder. "Their insight and educational content will help ICRA members grow their businesses strategically as some may want to move from P2P into the independent car rental space at some point."

United under the NP Auto Group umbrella, Priceless was founded in 1998, and NextCar in 2003. The two brands feature a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles with U.S. locations in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Wyoming, and internationally in Argentina, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Iceland, Jamaica, Malta, Mexico, Montenegro, Saint Marten, Turks & Caicos, Romania, and Spain.
