Following two successful U.S. openings in Miami this year, UFODrive has now officially launched in Munich, the operator announced on March 9. This is its fourth location in Germany and the third new location launched in 2023 so far, with a second Dublin location launching this month.

The newest "UFOBay" offers premium Tesla rentals, including the Tesla Model 3, in the prime location of Gollierstraße 6, 80339 München, right next to “Theresienwiese,” where Oktoberfest is held every year.

“It’s an honor to open up in such a central spot in Munich,” said Edmund Read, UFODrive’s chief commercial officer. “There are so many amazing tourist attractions, important historic sites, beautiful parks, and amazing festivals. We believe the use of EV rental will greatly benefit this part of Europe.”

UFODrive is an all-digital, all-electric car rental experience controlled by an app, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week with no waiting in line, no paperwork, and free charging provided with every rental.

“Behind the scenes we try to solve every anxiety and make the enhanced electric driving experience a reality for our customers,” said Aidan McClean, CEO & co-founder of UFODrive. “We wanted to make rental less painful and pioneer the shift to electric, our customer ratings consistently tell us it's radically better.”

UFODrive is now available globally with locations including London, San Francisco, New York, Miami, Chicago, LA, Austin, Paris, Berlin, Dublin, and Amsterdam.
