Attention small rental companies with 50 or fewer units: this seminar is for you. When you don’t have the same buying power as the established rental companies, you need the right plan in place.

A panel will present a how-to session on boosting profits. Topics include buying and funding fleet, maximizing revenues from reservations and fleet management, connecting to OTAs and other marketing opportunities, as well as advice on how to contract insurance, systems software, and other services.

The panel consists of three experts in the car rental industry:

  • Joshua Stock owns and manages Carzi Rent a Car, an independent car rental company based in Phoenix. Stock and his team developed contact-free and automated processes for the company’s operational and customer experience.

  • Michael Meyer is the co-founder of Rate-Highway, a provider of revenue management and competitive intelligence systems. Rate-Highway created a rental car internet shopping tool (Rate-Monitor) to help with revenue management.

  • Trent Gifford is the CEO and co-founder of the Independent Car Rental Association (ICRA). He helps his independent car rental clients grow market operations and move into new opportunities through leadership, strategic planning, and execution. Appzoola is ICRA’s all-in-one platform that includes systems for car rental and fleet management.

The seminar will be moderated by Roger Zakaria, CEO of Fleet Consulting Association (FCA). In his role, he helps guide car rental operators on how to start, operate, and build company’s assets.

The International Car Rental Show will be held April 15-17, 2024, at Horseshoe Las Vegas. Registration is open, and early bird pricing ends March 15.
